Connected Car | San Jose, CA

On April 13th, we attended Connected Car in San Jose hosted by Elektrobit and sponsored by Rohde & Schwarz.

The event kicked off with a keynote speech hitting on the wave of disruption brought to the automobile ecosystem by emerging AI technologies. The event then moved on to a Fireside Chat with John Kenney, Principal Researcher at Toyota and Takafumi Ueno, Sr Manager of Vehicle IT at Nissan who discussed with us how we might “connect the connected car”.  Following the Fireside Chat was an extensive panel focusing on the imminent changes to the automotive supply change. Panel participants were Balaji Ayyaswamy, LBS Wireless Product Leader at Rohde & Schwarz, Walter Sullivan, Head of Innovation Lab, SV at Elektrobit, Matthew Eichenberger, Sr Dir Product Management at Qualcomm Technologies and Michael Hall, CTO at Magnetti Marelli.  Following the panel, 10 startups took to the stage to pitch their solutions.

Overall, the event was a huge success for us. We love being at the center of this rapidly growing industry and events like these remind us how important our vision of a driverless future really is.
