October Events

October proved to be one of the busiest months of the year for the AutonomouStuff team, with shows all over the world, the continuation of our meetup series, and an innovation conference right down the road from our headquarters' hometown.

World Safety Summit

We joined our partners at Velodyne Lidar for the World Safety Summit, participating in panel discussions on the future of autonomy. John Buszek, our Vice President of Products and Services, elaborated on the ways developers of autonomous vehicles can perform testing and validation that will preserve and promote public trust in the technology.

Big Table Greater Peoria

The inaugural Big Table Greater Peoria event featured AutonomouStuff's Director of Engineering Joe Buckner discussing the intersection of innovation and entrepreneurship to a crowd of hundreds at the Peoria Civic Center. Following Joe's presentation, the tables participated in their own discussions of innovation in and around Peoria, just a few miles down the road from AutonomouStuff's headquarters in Morton.

ELIV

The biannual Electronics in Vehicles (ELIV) congress in Bonn this year included an AutonomouStuff Automated Research Development Platform, a Lexus RX450h. We joined out Hexagon PI colleagues in demonstrating their integrated technology, such as global positioning systems, and other software and components, such as an Autoware autonomous software stack and sensor visualization.

ITS

At the International Transportation Symposium World Congress in Singapore, we partnered with NovAtel and MSC Software to show how Hexagon Positional Intelligence is scaling technology to offer deployable software and services. Our Founder and CEO Bobby Hambrick also spoke on the "Pathway to Automation" panel during the conference.
