February Events

We closed out February with a trip to San Francisco for the 10th Autonomous Vehicles conference, where we had one of our platforms to on hand for demonstrations. And our Nissan Xterra from the 2005 and 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge events is on display in Peoria.

The 10th Autonomous Vehicles conference in San Francisco gave us the opportunity to catch up with partners and connect with new ones, with our Lexus RX450h Automated Research Development Platform on hand to demonstrate object detection and software solutions.

We also showcased Hexagon's Smart Autonomous Mobility solutions portfolio — a three-tiered approach to providing all the services, software and hardware necessary to step into an autonomous future.

Year of Invention at the Peoria Riverfront Museum

AutonomouStuff is thrilled to participate in the Peoria Riverfront Museum’s Year of Invention alongside the exhibition of Da Vinci The Genius, which vividly illustrates the power and perseverance of the same type of visionary ingenuity we strive to embody.

Our Nissan Xterra on display is historic in its own right — having competed in the 2005 and 2007 Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Urban Challenge events, which accelerated development of the autonomy industry. The 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge at the former George Air Force Base in Victorville, California, marked a significant milestone for autonomous mobility: the first time autonomous vehicles interacted with both manned and unmanned vehicle traffic in an urban environment.
